At
home succumbed after a lengthy illness, in the arms of his loving
wife on Friday December 28th,
2012 at the age of 62, John is survived by wife Ulana Chris, sons
Shane (Kerry), Brian, Robert (Charlene), John (Diana) and Sean, and
grandchildren Sydney, Jamie, Maria, Jayden and Anthony, and many
extended family and friends. Brother of Sandra (Vince MacDonald),
Frederick (Diana), Patricia (Paul Tourountzas), Marilyn (Joe),
Nelson, Kenneth (Natalie), Robert (Tanya) and the late Allan, Brian
and Beverley. Brother-in law of Lydia and Peter. John is predeceased
by his parents, John Patrick and Louise Alice (nee Powell).
Cremation
has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral
Home, 318 Main Street East, Shelburne, on Saturday January 5, 2013,
from 1:30-2:00 p.m. A memorial Service will follow in the funeral
home chapel at 2:00 pm. Luncheon will follow.
